Zop's Furyband
Zop's Furyband is a mod based off of FuryBand by Zop, and fixes a lot of the bugs, and adjusts some of the classes and weapons. You can play with just the program changes, or with his mod.
Zop Mod Additions:
- a suffix-type item ego has been added for every prefix effect, and visa-versa (examples: "Orc-Slaying" and "of Acid" for weapons)- re-evaluated all weapons: changed damage dice, rarities, cost, weight, level found, etc etc
- 38 weapons and armor pieces have been added (7 axes, 5 swords, 7 hafted, 7 polearms, 1 boomerang, 5 headgear, 2 crowns, 2 handclaws, 2 offhand weapons), many have innate abilities. Boomerangs now have different weights...
- Three redundant swords removed
- (in the lib\mods\zopfb\edit\ folder there are text files listing the old and new weapon specs for comparisons)
- three Sceptres, and a couple tools added for the Tool equipment slot.
- adjusted ego rarities to match effects (*Slay* was more likely to appear than regular Slay types)
- added dungeon level requirements to many egos- for example, the Holy Avenger and *Defender* egos were available at any level, but now, they are not normally found before dungeon level 20 (1000')
- I gave the new auras to many vortex monsters and some greater ancient dragons. There are a few more vortexes, too.
- changed some ego names to prevent alchemists from learning too much at once
- those monsters with HUGE experience values reduced
- every lightsaber is unequippable by non-jedi users.
- large [D]ragons will now occasionally drop tool-type items, which includes footwear
- offhand weapons (shield-slot items) have a seperate set of egos (no more resistances, but I kept reflection and added "Enhanced" ego)
- new race: Disembodied Hands. Basically, they are immune to many effects and terrian, but lack basic equipment slots. I also made help files (press ? when choosing race/subrace) for the hands race and its subraces.
New egos for weapons:
- Light/Dark brands for ammo
- "Envy" : Dark + Poison Brands
- "Burning Acidity" : Fire + Acid combo brands
- "Electrical Frost" : Cold + Elec combo brands
- "Adept's/of Skill" : Dexterity / Critical Hits / Free Action / Searching / See Invis
- "Weird/Unusual" : Random Stat / Two Random Resists / Extra Dam Die
- "Unbreakable/of Everlasting" : ammo/boomerang cannot be destroyed by use (buyable for chargeable boomerangs)
For bow:
- "Boldness" : power to remove fear
- "Hunting" : power to make food
For armor:
- Shields of the Ent: Gain power to grow trees / Susceptible to Fire / Resist Cold / STR / CON
- Leather Gloves of the Merchant: Gain merchant powers (identifty/chest manipulation/get value of items)
++For soft armor:
- Salamander: gives immunity to fire, but sensitivity to cold
- Arctic/Tundra: gives immunity to cold, but sensitivity to fire
++For metal armor:
- Snake/Serpentine: gives immunity to acid, but sensitivity to electricity
- of Golems: you should already be guessing it!
For diggers:
- Fortifying : CON/AC
For lights:
- Absorbing : PROTECTION flag, which gives the effect of receiving half damage
- Clarity : SAFETY flag, which gives protection from stuns

Installation Instructions
Extract the zopfb folder from this zip, and place it into the mods folder, which is in the lib folder found in the same folder as the Furyband program.
